Research Work

This research investigates the migration crisis driven by terrorism in West Africa, with a focus on crafting policies that promote decent work, economic growth, and inequality reduction for displaced populations and host communities. Through a comparative analysis of local integration versus repatriation, the study explores how each approach can address the economic and social challenges caused by displacement. Case studies from Nigeria, Mali, and Burkina Faso will be used to assess the effectiveness of proposed policies in creating employment opportunities, fostering inclusive growth, and reducing inequalities. The research also examines the role of regional and international actors in supporting these policies, aiming to provide sustainable solutions for both displaced individuals and the broader West African region.
